This Privacy Policy describes how The Therapist's AI Playbook ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website at https://therapistaiplaybook.com or purchase our products.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and any profile information you provide. This data is stored securely via Supabase.
Payment information. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment card details on our servers. We receive a Stripe customer ID and payment confirmation status only.
Usage data. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymized data about how visitors use our website, including pages visited, time on page, and referral sources. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you.
Email address. If you subscribe to our mailing list or request the free guide, your email address is stored and used to deliver the requested content and periodic updates about the product. Email delivery is handled via Resend.
Cookies and local storage. We use local storage to remember your dark mode preference. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account and purchased product access
  • Process payments and fulfill product deliveries via Stripe
  • Send you the free guide or product updates you requested via Resend
  • Improve our website and product offerings using aggregated analytics from GA4
  • Respond to your support requests or inquiries
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:

SupabasePrivacy Policy

Database and authentication. Stores your account information and purchase records. Data hosted on AWS infrastructure.

StripePrivacy Policy

Payment processing. Handles all payment card data. We receive only payment confirmation and a customer identifier.

ResendPrivacy Policy

Transactional and marketing email delivery. Stores your email address for sending product-related communications.

Google Analytics 4 (GA4)Privacy Policy

Website analytics. Collects anonymized usage data including pages visited and referral sources. IP addresses are anonymized.

VercelPrivacy Policy

Website hosting and infrastructure. Processes requests to our website and may log IP addresses in standard server logs.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account information and purchase records for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or tax purposes.

Email subscribers can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send. Upon unsubscribing, your email address will be removed from our marketing lists within 10 business days.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, including:

  • HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers
  • Supabase row-level security for database access controls
  • Stripe PCI-DSS compliance for payment data
  • No storage of payment card details on our infrastructure

No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we use commercially reasonable security measures, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Portability: Request a machine-readable export of your data
  • Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for licensed mental health professionals and are not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

8. HIPAA Notice

Important: Do not submit patient information through this website.

This website is a commercial platform for purchasing an educational digital product. It is not a HIPAA-covered entity. Do not submit any Protected Health Information (PHI) through our website, contact forms, or support channels. The playbook itself teaches you how to de-identify information before using AI tools — we expect the same standard from our own customers when contacting us.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
